Unlike many Toronto courier services, A-Way Express uses a simple, easy-to-understand zone system. Your delivery charge is based on the pick-up or drop-off zone, whichever is farther from Toronto’s city centre.

Courier Services

Our couriers deliver from 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday, and our Customer Service Representatives are ready to take your order by 8am. Service outside of regular hours may be available for key accounts. Please contact us for more information.

Basic Service (same day or overnight delivery)*

For same-day deliveries within the purple zone, the package must be picked up by 3 pm. For same-day deliveries anywhere else in our service area, the cut-off time for pick-up is 1 pm.

If your package isn’t ready in time for same-day delivery, we can deliver your package overnight, or you can choose to send it with Rush or Urgent Service. 

The following surcharges apply to overweight and over-sized packages:

• $1 per lb for each additional lb over 10lbs

• $[XX] flat fee for packages over the following dimensions: [XX x XX x XX]

• $4 handling fee may apply for each extra trip when multiple loads are needed

*Foot courier service only. Orders requiring a vehicle will have a 15% surcharge added to these totals.

Rush Service (2-hour delivery)

The Rush Service delivery charge is 1 ½ times the Basic Service charge.

If you call in a Rush delivery late in the day, please check that someone at the package destination can receive it. If not, you may be charged a re-delivery fee. Please call 416-424-2266 to verify cutoff times for Rush Service.

Urgent Service (1-hour delivery)

Our Urgent Service delivery charge is 2 times the Basic Service charge.

If you call in an Urgent delivery late in the day, please check that someone at the package destination can receive it. If not, you may be charged a re-delivery fee. Please call 416-424-2266 to verify cutoff times for Urgent Service.

10% discount for 15 packages or more. Please call us the day before to arrange delivery of more than 15 packages.

Out-of-town deliveries

Whether your delivery is going to the edge of the GTA or beyond, we can help. If you need delivery service outside the limits of our rate map, we work with Canada Post and other delivery partners to make sure that all of your packages are delivered at no extra cost to you.
